I'm Susie, and I want to change these stories:
-"I’ve studied English for years – but I still can’t express myself authentically”.
- “I know the grammar rules, but I freeze up when I speak.”
- “My career progress is limited by my English.”
These are sentiments I’ve heard a lot (unfortunately!) among students. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Switching to English – and feeling good about it – is totally viable.
Coming from Scotland to Spain, I spent a decade immersed in an international context as an English teacher, trainer, manager & recruiter in Barcelona's largest English academy for adults.
I’ve seen first-hand how proficiency in English can open up incredible opportunities, lead to exciting career paths, and shape futures.
This inspired me to relocate to the Pyrenees and launch Talktips, my personal project dedicated to helping adults achieve fluency and confidence in English.
