I started offering these lessons as a side hobby, inspired by a promise I made. One of the students I had in a University program to reduce the elementary and middle school abandonment after the pandemics once told me: "You're such a good teacher — you should give lessons to many people so they can improve." and I promised him I would. Sadly, he passed away due to COVID-19 complications three years ago. Since then, I’ve been determined to honor that promise teaching others. I offer conversational Spanish classes for all levels — from beginners who want to practice their first words to advanced students aiming to sound more natural. I'm patient, friendly, and committed to your progress. My goal: To give my best so you can improve your Spanish confidently and naturally. "I use a communicative and task-based approach, with role plays, real-life conversations, and authentic materials. Every lesson is personalized to your interests so you can enjoy learning Spanish and make progress at your own pace." Methods Communicative approach The lessons focus on using Spanish in real-life situations. The main goal is for you to feel comfortable communicating, rather than just memorizing grammar rules. Task-based learning Each class includes practical activities: describing pictures, solving everyday situations, sharing experiences, giving opinions on topics that interest you. Natural method Spanish will be the main language spoken in class (at the level you can manage), so you get as much exposure as possible. Personalized approach Every lesson is tailored to your goals and interests (for example: Spanish for travel, for business, or for learning about Mexican culture). Techniques Role-playing We simulate real-life conversations: at a restaurant, at the airport, in an interview, etc. Guided and free conversations We start with support (using questions, pictures or model phrases) and gradually move toward more natural conversations. Real-time correction and feedback at the end of the class I kindly correct mistakes during the conversation and provide a summary at the end with areas to improve. Use of authentic materials Songs, news articles, short videos, memes, recipes, ads — so you learn real, everyday Spanish. Brief grammar reviews when necessary I only explain grammar points when they’re really needed, keeping explanations simple and clear. Follow-up questioning technique I ask a question, you answer, and I build new questions from your response — so the conversation flows naturally.
